  • Geri Palast

    Executive Director

    Geri has extensive experience organizing and leading national grassroots and legislative issue campaigns. She has founded and run four NGOS, including IAN. She served as the U.S. Assistant Secretary of Labor for Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs during the Clinton Administration and as Political and Legislative Director of Service Employees International Union. A trained attorney, she has served on numerous boards and taught at universities.

  • Ethan Felson

    Executive Director

    Ethan has helped make the case for Israel and Israeli-Palestinian peace for 30 years. Since 2004, he has been in the forefront of efforts to challenge delegitimization and BDS. Prior to joining IAN, Ethan was Senior Vice President of the Jewish Council of Public Affairs and, before that, Assistant Executive Director and CRC director at the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford. He has helped form several interfaith programs, including Interfaith Partners for Peace.

  • Stephanie Hausner

    Deputy Director

    Stephanie is responsible for strengthening the capacity of local community professionals in countering the assault on Israel’s legitimacy and is IAN's main point of contact for Federations and JCRCs. Stephanie came to IAN after working in the Federation system in various capacities. A former Councilwoman in the town of Clarkstown, she was named one of Rockland County’s “40 under 40″ in 2010 and in 2013 was included in “The Jewish Week 36 under 36.”

  • Jennifer Hillel

    Director of Development

    Jennifer is responsible for IAN's national fundraising efforts, financial operations, and development of IAN's Advisory Board. Jen brings 15 years of experience in building support for Israel and Jewish community organizations, including past positions at Birthright Israel Foundation, Columbia/Barnard Hillel, 92nd Street Y, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis. She holds a BA from Indiana University and an MPA from NYU Wagner.

  • E.R. Silverbush

    Director of Communications

    E.R. oversees all aspects of IAN's communication strategy, helping IAN convey its unique value proposition in a crowded space. E.R. previously ran online marketing efforts for the American Technion Society, where he helped develop and execute online marketing strategies for the Israel Institute of Technology. E.R. earned his BS in communications from Syracuse's Newhouse School and an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business.

  • Avi Weinryb

    Director of National Strategy

    Avi manages national campaigns focused on developing and organizing a variety of advocates to counter attacks on Israel’s legitimacy. He often leads teams comprised of national agencies and local organizations in his efforts. Avi also oversees research and Israel-based programs. He has a decade of experience in professional advocacy. Avi holds a BA from the University of Toronto and an MA from the Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy.

  • Paulina Carey

    Senior Manager, National Strategy

    Paulina handles a variety of day-to-day and immediate tasks in the areas of community engagement and communications, such as research and aiding in the creation of a diverse range of publications. Prior to joining IAN, Paulina was an intern for the Anti-Defamation League’s Civil Rights Division, where she assisted in opposition research. Paulina is an alumna of Barnard College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian and Middle Eastern Cultures.

  • Brina Chu

    Community Strategy Manager

    Brina serves as a resource for Federations, JCRCs and other allied organizations. Her role includes combating the delegitimization of Israel and promoting opportunities for peace through educational programming, strategic planning, and community campaign organizing. Prior to joining IAN, Brina worked for Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America. She holds a BA degree in Psychology and Judaic Studies from Binghamton University.

  • Elizabeth Castellano

    Executive Assistant

    Elizabeth is a seasoned Executive Assistant with over 20 years experience. She provides technical and logistical support to IAN's Executive Directors. She assists the team with multiple projects, and handles the scheduling of meetings, conferences, and other activities. Elizabeth also contributes to several special projects, including those related to the Jewish Federation of North America's Cultural Committee.
