Last Sunday, CBS’s 60 Minutes aired a segment titled “Christians of the Holy Land,” which cynically distorted a complicated story to disparage Israel. In response, the Israel Action Network, together with the Jewish Council for Public Affairs, launched an action alert urging 60 Minutes to correct their story. We highly encourage you to share this alert to your lists widely.

IAN Deputy Managing Director David Dabscheck leads a discussion as part of the ‘Combating the Season of Delegitimization: An Advanced Training Israel Advocacy Workshop.’ This IAN Mobilization was held together with the Community Relations Committee of UJC MetroWest and Jewish Federation of Central New Jersey on March 18th.

IAN is proud to report back on the successes achieved by our micro-grants program. The Jewish Federation of Princeton Mercer Bucks was awarded a $7,000 grant to fund a program called ‘Buy Israel Goods (BIG),’ which encourages merchants and shoppers in Bucks and Mercer counties to buy and sell goods made in Israel.

The Israel Action Network (IAN) is a strategic initiative of The Jewish Federations of North America, in partnership with the Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA) to counter the assault on Israel’s legitimacy.
Israel today faces an intensive and increasingly sophisticated assault on its right to exist as a sovereign democratic Jewish state. The IAN was created to educate, organize and mobilize the organized North American Jewish community to develop strategic approaches to countering these assaults and develop innovative efforts to change the conversation about Israel and achieving peace and security for two states for two peoples.
